Comfortable and wide cut, these men's chef's trousers impress with a high level of wearing comfort that pays off especially on long working days in the kitchen. The classic pepita pattern has not gone out of fashion since the 19th century. Back then, craftsmen and servants in the kitchen wore chef's clothing for the first time - and the check pattern that was already popular back then. The name pepita check probably goes back to the Spanish dancer Josefa de la Oliva, who was also called Pepita de la Oliva (in English: olive pit). During her performances, the dancer liked to wear black and white tulle skirts on top of each other, which achieved a similar optical effect as the check fabric.

The chef's trousers for men are made of robust, easy-care and breathable cotton, which ensures that chefs sweat as little as possible in them. The elasticated waistband increases comfort and eliminates the need for a belt or braces that could restrict or squeeze uncomfortably. Because daily laundry care is essential for professional chef's clothing, these chef's trousers are specially designed for hygienic and industrial washing. They have been in the CWS range for many years and have proven their worth in the daily work routine in thousands of kitchens across Europe.
