Biography
Markus Schad is CEO for the CWS Cleanrooms division. He joined the company in June 2018 and has held the position of Managing Director since 2019. Prior to that, he worked successfully for over 15 years in various companies and changing positions in the cleanroom and textile industry.
Markus began his career as a banker, completed additional business studies at the Administration and Economics Academy in Munich in order to manage then leading positions in risk controlling in direct brokerage.
In 2004 he switched to the textile industry. He successfully built up the laundry decontam GmbH and sold it to the Berendsen Group in 2012. He continued to work as managing director until 2018 when he moved to the CWS Group, where he was responsible for and expanded the Cleanrooms and Healthcare business as managing director. From 2021 he has his focus exclusivly on the strongly growing Cleanrooms business.
