CWS Hygiene International announces personnel change: Velina Allerkamp new Chief Divisional Officer Hygiene

Duisburg, September 1, 2021 – CWS, a holistic solution provider for Hygiene, Workwear, Fire Safety, Cleanrooms and Healthcare, announces Velina Allerkamp as its new Chief Divisional Officer Hygiene (CDO). Allerkamp takes over the business of CWS Hygiene International GmbH and reports directly to Jürgen Höfling, CEO of the CWS Group. Allerkamp is thus returning to CWS: in March 2019, she had assumed the role of Head of Corporate Development here before moving to Haniel Holding, where she accompanied the realignment of the company. Most recently, she was responsible for the Progress division at Haniel as Investment Partner.

Velina Allerkamp takes over CWS Hygiene from Björn Kablitz, who led the division on an interim basis since September 2020. Jürgen Höfling, CEO of the CWS Group, thanks Björn Kablitz for the good cooperation: “Björn took over the division during a very challenging time and excellently steered it through the pandemic. On behalf of the whole CWS we would like to thank Björn for this accomplishment and wish him all the best for the future.”

Allerkamp started her career in 2005 in investment banking at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Velina Allerkamp then worked as Head of Strategy at the mechanical engineering company GEA and as a project manager in the Corporate Development & Corporate Finance Practice of the Boston Consulting Group before starting at the CWS parent company Haniel.
